What does a master internet broker do?+
A master internet broker works with the internet service providers (ISPs) on your behalf. We check which ISPs can actually serve your address, put their quotes side by side on speed, term and SLA, submit the order, coordinate the install, and escalate trouble tickets for the life of the contract. You deal with one point of contact instead of a separate sales rep at every carrier.
Which carriers does SmartLink work with?+
Our book includes AT&T, Spectrum, Lumen, Comcast Business, Verizon, Frontier, Zayo, Crown Castle, TPX, Cox Business, Windstream and Cogent, plus regional carriers and fixed-wireless providers nationwide. The list keeps growing, so if you don't see a carrier, ask.
Do you favor one carrier over another?+
No. SmartLink is carrier-agnostic. We put every qualified carrier's quote in the same table and you pick the one that fits.
What types of internet service can you quote?+
Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) and fiber, broadband and coax, fixed wireless, 5G and cellular backup, MPLS and SD-WAN, point-to-point fiber, hosted VoIP and UCaaS, cloud direct connect to AWS, Azure or GCP, and POTS replacement for legacy copper lines.
How long does it take to get a new business internet circuit installed?+
A typical brokered circuit takes 60–90 days from discovery to handoff. The timeline depends on the carrier and on whether construction is needed to reach your building. Fixed wireless or 5G service can bridge the gap while fiber is built.
Where does SmartLink work?+
Carrier brokerage works anywhere in the United States. Cabling and network installs are mostly in Southern California, and we travel for existing clients opening new locations.
Who performs the cabling and installation work?+
SmartLink scopes and manages every job. Field and installation work is performed by vetted, licensed and insured subcontractors. Cabling is labeled, Fluke-certified and documented with as-builts.
Can you handle multiple locations?+
Yes. We quote and coordinate multi-site and multi-region rollouts, design MPLS and SD-WAN networks, and can bring every site, device and circuit into a single SmartLink management portal.
What happens if my internet circuit goes down?+
Existing clients contact SmartLink instead of waiting on carrier hold lines. We open and escalate the trouble ticket with the carrier, troubleshoot remotely first, and dispatch on-site help when needed. Existing clients also have an after-hours line.
How do I get a quote?+
Send the service address and the speed you need through the quote form, or call Mike Chin directly at (562) 470-6924. We'll come back with a side-by-side quote from every carrier that can deliver to that address.
